- Check-in: Your room, suite, or apartment will be available starting on the day of arrival from 3 PM. If you plan to arrive after 6 PM, please let us know in advance.
- Check-out: Please vacate your room, suite, or apartment as well as your reserved parking space by 11 AM at the latest. Your key card will be automatically deactivated; please return it at the reception.
- BAR.bara: Visit the BAR.bara daily from 8 AM. The regular closing time is at 1:00 AM - but it may vary at any time.
- Parking: Our parking spaces are charged and require reservation. You can reserve them directly when booking, which we strongly recommend as it may be quite difficult to find a parking space otherwise. Your reserved parking space will be available from 3 PM on the day of arrival - the parking space must be vacated by 11 AM upon departure.
- Reservation: You can easily make your booking through our online booking system, or simply send us your individual booking inquiries at info@diebarbara.at. We will then send you a suitable offer with a booking link, and once you confirm the offer, you will receive a booking confirmation with all information regarding the deposit and cancellation conditions.
IMPORTANT: The booking is only valid upon timely payment of the required deposit. - WLAN: Our high-speed WLAN is free throughout the hotel.
- Wellness: Our sauna area is accessible to you daily from 3:30 PM to 9 PM free of charge (in summer, rather upon request).
FAQs
Do you need to cancel?
Too bad, hopefully it will work out next time. In case of cancellation, the following cancellation conditions apply: Cancellation is free of charge up to 61 days before arrival. From 60 to 31 days before arrival, we charge 40% of the total price. From 30 to 8 days before arrival, we charge 70%. From 7 to 1 day before arrival, we charge 90%. In the case of cancellation on the day of arrival, no-show, or early departure, 100% will be charged. In summer, the cancellation conditions are slightly more lenient and vary depending on the package/rate. You can find the cancellation information in your non-binding offer.
Important: Your cancellation must be submitted exclusively in written form! Just send us an email at info@diebarbara.at.
Better not to risk anything – take out a travel cancellation insurance with your reservation. With the Hotel Storno Plus insurance, you are well-protected. We are happy to assist you with taking out your cancellation insurance.

Would you like to arrive early?
We understand – after all, valuable holiday time should be well-utilized. If you arrive early, you can use our luggage and changing room. You will find parking options directly across from the Planai during the day or in the city center. From 3 PM, you will receive both your room and your reserved (paid) parking space.
Breakfast on the day of arrival?
Of course – this is the perfect start to your vacation. Just check in at the reception. Price per adult €25, and children from 5-10 years €12.50.
Would you like to spend your departure day in Schladming?
Good idea – our luggage room and changing room along with guest shower are available for you, so you can freshen up quickly before heading home. Keep in mind, your parking space must be vacated by 11 AM on the day of departure. Parking options are available directly across from the Planai or in the city center.
Holiday with a dog
Your four-legged friend is warmly welcomed here during the summer months; unfortunately, dogs cannot be accommodated during the winter. For the overnight stay of your pet, we charge a fee of €30.00 per night. To ensure your dog has everything it needs, please bring your own dog bed, food, and a food bowl.
At the breakfast buffet, we offer a separate seating area where you can comfortably have breakfast together with your dog.
