Our Mountainbike Route Tip: Planai Round

Directly from the B&B Hotel die Barbara you start the tour to the Talbachklamm, where you can enjoy the wonderfully cool air as you pass through. Upon arriving at the Feuerwehrdepot in Rohrmoos Untertal, you will ride left for about 2.5 km along the road. Then, turn left onto the Janerbrücke towards Fastenberg. From here, it goes uphill, with the beautiful view of Rohrmoos and Schladming being your constant companion. At kilometer 10, you turn right onto the Planaistraße. After the Planai Mittelstation, follow the pleasantly ascending gravel road to the Planai Bergstation. Here, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Dachstein and over the Ennstal, and maybe have a small refreshment in the cozy huts before tackling the descent to Schladming. Back at the B&B Hotel die Barbara, treat your bike to a proper shower at the in-house bike wash station – afterward, make yourself comfortable on the sun terrace.
