Sledding and Night Sledding

During a fun sledding outing at Hochwurzen, the fun will surely not fall by the wayside. The 7.5 km long sledding track in Rohrmoos near Schladming is accessible both during the day and in the evening. Sleds can be rented directly at the Hochwurzen valley station. The ascent with the Hochwurzen GUB is included in your Ski amadé ski pass during the day.

A truly special experience is the night sledding, for which you need a separate evening ticket. The cable car operates from 7 PM to 9:30 PM, and the sledding track is lit until 11 PM.

A stop for refreshments is, of course, essential during a proper sledding fun – the ski huts are also open in the evening. However, please note that the sledding track is closed from 11 PM!

Romantic Tip

Why not try something completely different,
totally relaxed and, as we find, quite romantic:
A torch hike in the Rohrmooser Untertal. Over the crystal slope or via the winter hiking trail, in the deepest winter with snowshoes or, when there is a bit less snow, simply with winter boots - a torch hike to the Sondlalm is definitely worth a trip!
